Per the bylaws, the Board of Directors voted to dissolve this non-profit because we were unable to find volunteers to fill the leadership roles of Executive Director and the Board.

CONGRATULATIONS to the Class of 2017 recipients:  Kevin Dang (Information Systems, University of Maryland - Baltimore County),   Kaylyn Hewes (Forensic Science, Randolph-Macon College) and Kayla Patti (Government and Political Science, University of Maryland - College Park).  Kevin, Kaylyn and Kayla each received a $1,000 scholarship to help pursue their post-secondary educations.

Congratulations to the 2015 NCHS Alumni Scholarship awardees:  Camilla Shanley (George Washington Univ, International Relations), Savannah Davis (Coastal Carolina Univ, Marine Science) and Jack Andraka (Stanford, Bioengineering).  The Class of 2015 recipients are the first to receive the increased amount of $1,000 to help pursue their post-secondary educations.

Our 2014 NCHS Alumni Scholarship recipients are Renee Dobrovolsky (University of Maryland - Baltimore County, Biology), Jamie Tacka (Salisbury University, Nursing) and Matthew Wandalear (University of Maryland - Baltimore County, Computer Science). Each received a $500 scholarship.

Congratulations to the inaugeral North County High School Alumni Scholarship winners: Edward Carey (Stevenson University, Education), Joseph Landgraf (University of Maryland - College Park, Government & Politics and Economics) and Violetta Voronina (Towson University, Law).  Edward, Joseph and Violetta received a $500 scholarship at the Senior Awards Ceremony.

The application for 501(c)(3) status is approved by the Internal Revenue Service and we are officially recognized by the IRS as a public charity.

The Application for Recognition of Exemption under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service (Form 1023) is submitted to the Internal Revenue Service.


August 11, 2010

Our Articles of Incorporation are approved by the State of Maryland and the North County High School Alumni Scholarship Fund, Inc. is officially incorporated.


August 2, 2010

The Internal Revenue Service assigns the North County High School Alumni Scholarship Fund, Inc. an Employer Identification Number (EIN). 


July 25, 2010

An organizational meeting is held in Glen Burnie with the Board of Directors, Executive Director and members of the Class of 1991 in attendence.  The Board of Directors approves our name, mission statement, Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws. 


June 10, 1991

The first graduating class of North County High School walks the stage at University of Maryland, Baltimore County.


Summer of 1990

Andover High School and Brooklyn Park High School merge to become North County High School.
